Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi inaugurated Pakistan’s first Khatamun Nabiyeen (SAWW) University and laid the foundation stone of Jamia Masjid Khatamun Nabiyeen (SAWW) in Lahore on Sunday.
Speaking to the media, he stated that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly would also be dissolved the day after tomorrow, leaving only general elections. He said that due to the special blessings Allah Almighty bestowed on him, he wholeheartedly performed his duties to serve the religion and did the work of four years in a mere four months.
“A visible positive change was seen in every sector and department,” he said, adding that the common people were overjoyed with the establishment of new districts and divisions. He stated that the Talagang district had remained with Rawalpindi and had not been incorporated into Mianwali.
The scope of Rescue 1122 had been stretched to small streets, and whenever given more opportunity, Rescue 1122 would be launched in villages as well. Sindh had also launched an emergency service under the name “Rescue 1122,” he added.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the launch of the Blue Line transportation system in Lahore would benefit the common man, and that hybrid buses would soon be seen running for the masses in Lahore.
Parking lots and shopping malls would be built at the orange train’s major stations, including Anarkali.
