Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will travel to Moscow in December’s opening week with a large business delegation, with a joint business forum and talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the agenda, according to sources.
Preparations reviewed ahead of visit
Sources said the prime minister chaired a meeting to assess preparations for the trip. Businessmen will accompany him to the Russian capital, where he is due to speak at a joint business forum.
Bilateral talks with Putin planned
Shehbaz is also scheduled to meet Putin for bilateral discussions during the visit. The trip will make him the second Pakistani prime minister in recent years to travel to the Russian capital.
