The Italian ambassador said that the Pakistani community in Italy remitted one billion euros to Pakistan last year in an interview with a private TV programme.
Andreas Ferraris noted that last year Italy provided visas to more than 15,000 Pakistanis. It anticipates a rise in visa applications this year. “Last year, the Pakistani community in Italy sent 1 billion euros to Pakistan,” he continued.

According to Andreas Ferraris, both Pakistan and Italy are transitioning to green energy as a result of their respective energy crises. He claimed that Pakistan and Italy were benefiting from one another’s experiences.
On tourism, the ambassador stated that they wanted residents of both nations to visit increasingly for leisure.
