Earthquake of Magnitude 6.5 Hits Russia’s East Coast

Russia’s east coast was rocked by a terrible earthquake. The quake measured 6.5 on the Richter scale.

There is panic among the people after the earthquake, but no loss of life or property has been reported so far.

According to the US Seismological Center, the depth of the earthquake was 100 kilometers. According to the US Tsunami Warning System, there is no tsunami threat from the earthquake.
