Azam Khan, a young wicketkeeper batsman for Pakistan, has addressed criticism of his poor performance in the most recent three-match T20I series against Afghanistan in Sharjah.
In a recent interview with a local media outlet, Azam addressed the haters who constantly disparage him and compare his form to his fitness.
“I can’t keep everyone from speaking; if there is negative feedback, ignore it. As those who write such things frequently lack intelligence and have made little progress in their lives’’
Previously, former Pakistan pacer, Aaqib Javed, has expressed his concerns over the fitness levels of players representing Pakistan in international cricket.
“People who categorise me as a hitter who relies on pindi pitches should also look at my recent results. I respect their viewpoint, but I don’t play cricket to disprove it. I play cricket instead for my own satisfaction, and I’ll keep playing as long as I still feel that way “Azam stated.
Aaqib Javed, a former Pakistan pacer, has already voiced his worries about the fitness of the players who represent Pakistan in international cricket.
“I have no idea what kind of experiment that was. To my knowledge, the standard of abilities and fitness levels required to represent Pakistan were not taken into account when choosing the squad for this series “said Javed.
