Enhance your ChatGPT prompts with web searches for relevant data.
There are two methods:
- searching the web using DDG, and
- extracting web page text from URLs.
Web searching requires access to DuckDuckGo, while URL text extraction requires access to any website. So, all websites require permission to access.
With this free extension, your prompts to ChatGPT will now include relevant online results for chats that are more recent and accurate.

Currently, the extension only works with the DuckDuckGo search engine for web searches.
Since there is no backend server to handle web requests and everything is handled locally in the browser, the extension needs access to every website. There are two modes: collecting webpage text from URLs and utilizing DDG to search the web. While URL text extraction needs access to any website, web searches require DuckDuckGo.
