3 International Airlines Planning to Start Flight Operations to Pakistan

Three foreign airlines have expressed interest in starting air services to Pakistan. The foreign airlines include United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan and Ethiopian Airlines. Azerbaijan and Ethiopian Airlines have approached the  authority for air operations.

Ethiopian Airlines recently stated that it would begin direct flight service on May 1 between Karachi and Addis Abeba. Four flights per week are anticipated to be operated by airplane. Ethiopian Airlines has previously run on this route. Between 1966 and 1971, and again between 1993 and 2004, the airline flew between Addis Abeba and Karachi.
