Umar Akmal recently stirred up a lot of controversy by making a startling statement against the players on his own club. In fact, Nadir asked him about the Tiktok video for which he had to endure severe harassment when he was interviewing Nadir Ali. In response, Umar Akmal said:
“You just tell me that I cannot enjoy my siblings’ marriages? Is it inappropriate for me to dance at the wedding of one of my siblings or another relative? Just this much: Is what people are saying the reason he isn’t maturing? I believe that cricketers tend to say these things the most’’
“I just say this much in your show today that don’t force me because even their secrets are lying with me and if I reveal the secrets, they will lose their respect. Our people love to watch cricket but if I reveal this secret then our people will stop watching cricket.’’
