Naswar now Declared as Illegal Drug in MiddleEast

According to the Anti-Narcotics Force, Naswar has been included on the list of prohibited substances under the new law in all Arab countries in the Middle East.

Anyone found in possession of Naswar will reportedly be charged with an offence and subject to severe punishment under the new rule, according to ANF.

Pakistani nationals are hence not permitted to go there with Naswar. All airports have received verbal instructions from ANF in this regard, and written instructions have also been posted for the benefit of travellers.

The restriction would apply to all airport personnel, including the CAA department, according to a CAA notification. According to the CAA letter, any employee found eating gutka and nasir on airport property will face harsh punishment.
