Pakistan’s brief stint as top-ranked team in the ICC Men’s ODI Rankings ended abruptly as they were dethroned just two days after claiming the No.1 spot.
Despite a historic win in the fourth ODI against New Zealand, Pakistan’s failure to complete a clean sweep allowed Australia and India to regain the top positions.
Currently, Australia leads th ranking with 113 points, followed closely by India at No.2, whiel Pakistan sits at No.3 with 112 points.
Babar said,”It was a brilliant series but didn’t finish it the way we wanted. We didn’t do well with the bat at the top and Agha and Iftikhar got a good partnership but we left too many runs for them”.
