Nooh Butt, a renowned weightlifter from Pakistan, has been barred from participating in the Asian Games and Paris Olympics due to his alleged involvement with a parallel weightlifting interim committee.
However, Nooh has strongly denied these allegations and expressed his desire to continue representing Pakistan in future competitions.
Nooh took to Instagram to express his concerns about being included in the weightlifting event by the Pakistan Weightlifting Federation (PWLF).
He stated that he will not be able to participate in upcoming weightlifting competitions, including the National Games (2023), Asian Games (2023), and Olympic Games (2024), as he has been accused of being a member of a parallel weightlifting interim committee by the PWF. Consequently, he feels deprived of the opportunity and platform to participate in future competitions.
