‘Iron Brothers’ Pakistan, China Celebrate 72nd Anniversary of Diplomatic Ties

The 72nd anniversary of Pakistan and China’s diplomatic ties has been celebrated in Islamabad, immersed with leading Pakistani and Chinese Diplomats at China Embassy.

Eminent personalities from both the countries attended the reception including Ms. Pang Chunxue, the China’s diplomatic representative, Dr. Asad Majeed, Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary, officers from Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mazhar Javed, DG Foreign Service Academy, and Chinese Diplomats.

Ms. Pang emphasized on keeping the Pak-China friendship as both the countries have historical roots, practical needs, and firm public support. She also mentioned that 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of CPEC flagship project launch and ‘Belt and Road initiative’ put forward by President Xi Jinping.

She further commented that advancement in Beijing will result in new opportunities for Pakistan as well as appreciated the prolific results of CPEC covering various sectors of Pakistan including IT, agriculture, and disaster management, which has boosted Pakistan’s social and economic development.

Moreover, Dr. Asad Majeed Khan, Pakistan Foreign Secretary addressed the contributions of diplomats from both the countries into developing this prolonged friendly ties. He also acknowledged China’s support for Pakistan in achieving infrastructure development, economic stability, and independence.

The China Embassy took to their twitter account, admiring the presence of all the diplomats and marking the 72 years of friendship.
