The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rain and thundershowers in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Sindh, Balochistan and Azad Kashmir.
According to the Meteorological Department, a new rain system has entered the upper and western parts of the country. The rains are expected to continue till May 31.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), heavy rains are likely to occur in different cities of Punjab including Bhakkar, Mianwali, DG Khan, Multan, Sargodha, Jauharabad, Khushab, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot and Murree.
In Balochistan, rain is also expected in Zhob, Barkhan, Qila Saifullah, Kalat and Lasbela, while rain is expected in Khuzdar and surrounding areas.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain hot and dry in other parts of the country.
