This is a Blessed Tree under which the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad SAW sat 1500 years ago before meeting a Christian monk named Bahira.
This tree is still alive in Jordan’s northern deserts over fourteen hundred years later. It is the only living thing in hundreds of square miles of nothingness.
This tree is known as the Prophet Muhammad SAW’s last living sahabi/companion.
If you look around the tree (al-Buqayawiyya), there is no greenery for many kilometers as it stands alone in the middle of a desert, challenging scientists to explain how the tree is still alive.
