On Sunday, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar announced that over 7,986 kilns have been converted to Zig Zag technology across the province.
On Twitter, CM Buzdar stated that air pollution caused by brick kilns was a major problem in Punjab, particularly in the Lahore area, and that the kilns had to be shut down for four months during the winter.
CM Buzdar went on to thank his team, saying that so far, all 7,986 kilns in Punjab have been converted to Zig Zag technology.
