Shaheen Afridi Hits 4 Sixes in an Over, Scores 29 off 11 Balls in T20 Vitality Blast

Shaheen Afridi, the Pakistani cricketer, had a difficult time bowling in the T20 Vitality Blast match against Worcestershire. He gave away 45 runs in four overs, resulting in an economy rate of 11.25. Although he managed to take one wicket by dismissing Kashif Ali for 11 runs, Afridi didn’t perform at his best.

Nottinghamshire’s success in the match heavily relied on Alex Hales, who played a solid innings scoring 71 runs. Unfortunately, Hales didn’t receive much support from his teammates, and he got out in the 14th over when Nottinghamshire still needed 101 runs to win in the remaining six overs.

Despite struggling with his bowling, Afridi provided an exciting moment during Nottinghamshire’s innings. In the 16th over, bowled by Michael Bracewell, Afridi showed his power-hitting skills by hitting four sixes.

Afridi’s contribution with the bat was short but impactful. He scored 29 runs off just 11 balls, including four sixes and a four. However, his dismissal by Pat Brown marked the end for Nottinghamshire. With Afridi’s departure, their chances of winning diminished, and they were eventually bowled out for 170, falling short of Worcestershire’s high total.
