Muscat International Airport Receives First Flight of Pakistan’s Arrival

Pakistan’s airline, AirSial, commenced its first flight to Muscat International Airport on Thursday. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announced that AirSial will operate a total of eight scheduled flights per week. These flights will connect Muscat to three Pakistani airports: Islamabad Airport (three flights per week), Lahore Airport (three flights per week), and Sialkot Airport (two flights per week).

In January 2023, the number of passengers arriving at airports in Oman increased significantly by 94% compared to the same period in 2022. Additionally, the National Centre for Statistics and Information reported a year-on-year growth of 115% in the number of passengers departing from Oman’s airports in January 2023.
