Finance Minister Ishaq Dar presented the budget for year 2023-24 on Friday indicating a 3.5% GDP growth for the upcoming year. The budget presented many reliefs for different sectors including cheap landa bazar clothes.
According to the budget, there will be no tax on Landa bazar clothes reflecting their prices should go down. Moreover, the budget has a total outlay of PKR 14,460 billion. The draft was first presented in front of the cabinet for approval.
The session was held on Friday, commencing with the recitation of Holy Quran, and followed by National Anthem. The session was also attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz sharif.
Landa Bazar clothes are cheaper than usual market and after the budget announcement the prices are expected to go lower.
