65 Million Years Ago, Dinosaurs Drank Same Water You Are Drinking Today

The water we drink today is connected to the distant past when dinosaurs lived about 65 million years ago. Back then, the water cycle on Earth worked in a similar way to how it does now.

The same water molecules that dinosaurs relied on to survive are still circulating through the planet’s different water sources, like oceans, rivers, lakes, and groundwater.Over millions of years, water goes through a continuous process of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation.

Even though the Earth has changed a lot since the time of dinosaurs, the water molecules themselves have remained mostly the same. This means it’s possible that the water we drink today once satisfied the thirst of those amazing ancient reptiles.
