Firefighters in Dubai Used A JetPack Hose and JetPacks To Control Fire

In the early hours of Monday morning, firefighters in Dubai successfully extinguished a fire on a wooden dhow using innovative methods. The incident occurred on the Creek at 3.27am. Promptly responding to the emergency, the Dubai Civil Defence officials swiftly brought the fire under control, ensuring no reported injuries.

To support the initial team and facilitate the evacuation, firefighters from Al Hamriya fire station joined the operation. They employed a unique firefighting system, utilizing a jetski and a specialized jetpack called Dolphin. This Dolphin jetpack hose played a crucial role in accessing challenging areas and effectively controlling the fire.

By 4.15am, the fire was completely extinguished, and the situation was under control. Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the fire and implement preventive measures for future incidents.

This recent incident follows a boat fire that occurred last month in Dubai. In that instance, firefighters from Etihad Fire Station, along with officers from Al Karama Fire Station and a maritime rescue team, quickly responded to a vessel fire in the Bur Dubai district. Through their coordinated efforts, they successfully brought the fire under control by 10am, initiating subsequent cooling operations.
