WhatsApp new privacy policy has been announced; however, it also goes live where this messaging platform announced that it will not delete the user accounts if they won’t accept the new terms. WhatsApp has tweeted that the users can accept new terms any time. However, it seems to be an only option.
Moreover, the company also stated that, if the user will not accept the new terms then at that time users will encounter a limited functionality on WhatsApp right till they accept the updates. Meanwhile, it was also added that it will not happen to all users at a single moment of time.
User will be able to chat, voice call, video call, or use any option, but the functionality will be affected. So, after some weeks of limited functionality, users won’t be able to receive any incoming calls or any notifications as well as WhatsApp will stop sending messages or calls to the user’s phone.
Moreover, the company said that users can also export all their chat history to their Android or iPhone, and can also download a report of details of their account.
