The US Masters T10 League aiming to bring forward the renowned legends of cricket from Pakistan and India is to feature Shahid Afridi against Gautam Gambhir.
The New York Warriors, led by Shahid Afridi and Misbah-ul-Haq, will compete in the league’s inaugural edition together with former Indian cricketers Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh, presenting the New Jersey Legends.
The squad of New York Warriors includes Kamran Akmal, Jonathan Carter, TM Dilshan, Murali Vijay, Sohail Khan, Umaid Asif, William Perkins, Jerome Taylor, Abdur Rehman, Munaf Patel, Chamara Kapugedera, Cody Chetty, and Dhammika Prasad. Prominent names such as Umar Gul, Hammad Azam, and Mohammad Hafeez, will also participate in the league.
Chairman of Ten Sports Management, Shaji-ul-Mulk, also expressed his excitement about the participation of former international players in the US Masters league. He further stressed that the six teams are featuring numerous international legends of cricket offering the most anticipated competition for the fans worldwide.
The six teams which are part of the league are New York Warriors, Atlanta Fire, Morrisville Unity, California Knights, New Jersey Legends, and Texas Chargers.
The league will commence from 18th August to 27th August 2023.
