Elon Musk’s company SpaceX is getting ready to launch the world’s largest commercial communications satellite called Jupiter 3. It will go up on a big rocket called Falcon Heavy. After about eight minutes, the rocket’s side boosters will come back down and land on special spots on Earth.
The launch was supposed to happen on July 26, but it got delayed because of a safety issue. They fixed the problem and will try again on July 27. The rocket and the satellite are in good condition.
Jupiter 3 will be as big as the wingspan of a big airplane and will join other satellites in space from the Hughes Jupiter fleet. This satellite will help provide services like in-flight Wi-Fi and improve private Wi-Fi with other technologies.
The launch will happen from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and it will be the seventh time they use this big Falcon Heavy rocket.
