In an amazing show of talent and skill, the Pakistan Street Child Football team won their first match in the World Youth Football Cup, also called the ‘Norway Cup.’ They played against a Norwegian club called Frigg Oslo FK and won with a fantastic score of 11-1.
Abid Ali was the star player for the Pakistan team, scoring an impressive four goals. Saud Ahmed and Faisal Ahmad also did great, each scoring two goals. Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Adeel, and Sahil Gull each scored one goal. The Norwegian club, Frog Oslo, managed to score one goal, thanks to Scott McNol.
The Pakistan team will play more matches in the tournament on Monday and August 1. They have a talented squad with players in different positions, such as forwards Tofail Shinwari, Faisal, Shamir Ali, and Saud; midfielders Abdul Wahab, Muhammad Ali, Ali Asif, and Ahmed Raza; defenders Muhammad Adeel, Abid Ali, Obaidullah, and Asad Nasir; and goalkeeper Abdullah and Sahil.
The Pakistan Street Child Football Team has a great track record, being the runner-up in the Street Child Football World Cup in Qatar. They also got second place in Norway Cup 2015 and third place in Norway Cup 2016. Their recent win in Norway Cup 2023 shows their hard work and talent, making them a strong team in international youth football competitions.
