The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has accepted changes to the World Cup 2023 schedule proposed by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The match venues will remain the same, but the dates have been modified. The ICC will announce the updated schedule soon.
The Indian media reported that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was advised to change the itinerary due to Navratri, a festival celebrated in Gujarat, falling on the same day as the crucial Pakistan vs India match.
The Cricket World Cup will have ten teams competing in a round-robin format with 45 matches in total. The top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals, which will take place in Mumbai and Kolkata.

A panel formed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will discuss Pakistan’s participation in the World Cup in India in a meeting chaired by Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari. The panel will send its recommendations to the prime minister, who will make the final decision on the country’s participation in the event.
