Twitter, a social medial platform has recently removed a tweet posted by the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari for threatening the secessionists in the southeast of Nigeria who were responsible for the attacks on government offices.
Nigeria took a major action for such act because the tweet of the President was deleted without his consent. Nigeria blocked the Twitter in the country right after the social media platform deleted a tweet by the President Muhammadu Buhari.
Millions of Nigerians have their accounts on Twitter; however, the government of the country called the platform’s presence as “very, very suspect.”
Moreover, the announcement for the suspension of Twitter from Nigeria was made on Twitter.
