Pakistan becomes worst for IT exports with zero facilities; whereas, India leads in the region

According to the official report shared by P@SHA- Pakistan Software Houses Association for the IT and ITeS, it has been unveiled that Pakistan has become the worst country for its IT Industry as it lags behind all major countries in the region. This has been reported right after a recent withdrawal of the tax exemptions that was granted for the IT Industry till the year 2025.

Moreover, the neighboring country, India is leading in IT Industry by gaining the most facilities; whereas, the number of Pakistan’s facilities as well as benefits has been reduced to zero.

According to the Tweet of P@SHA, “The tax exemption was the biggest benefit given in Pakistan; and with the recent change in tax regime, it is also been compromised.”
