TikTok is gradually promoting content that comprises carrier advice such as getting internships, boosting CV/Resume’s, holding interviews tips, through their influencers.
According to a report from AXIOS, TikTok is working on a tool that will enable the brands and advertisers to hire employees using their platform, also it will allow the brands to promote their selves using the platform so that suitable candidates could connect with them.
As per sources, people will find jobs through TikTok, and the Brands will use TikTok as a recruitment channel.
TikTok is officially approaching LinkedIn territory, By pilot testing an enlistment service that would permit recruiters to find potential candidates on the network through video introductions, according to Axios
According to the sources, a few weeks ago a TikTok’s top executive posted the reason behind introducing this feature on LinkedIn that a Washington Post article about Gen Z using TikTok to share career advice, inspired TikTok officials to boost their platform for job seekers.
Axios further added that they will not integrate the recruitment platform with the main TikTok app but will work as a stand-alone page, and the users can access it using a separate web page linked back to the TikTok app. Through this cycle, brands can post jobs that can be shared through their TikTok videos, while clients can share a TikTok video resume to apply rather than conventional documents.
