In a staggering turn of events, gold prices in Pakistan have witnessed a dramatic decline, plummeting by over Rs. 15,000 in just two days.

As of September 6, 2023, the prevailing Gold Rate in Pakistan stands at Rs. 222,300 per tola for 24-karat gold dropped by Rs10,500 per tola.
The Karachi Sarafa Association reports a decrease of Rs9,002 in the price of 10-gram 24-karat gold to Rs190,586 per tola. While 10-gram 22-karat gold fell by Rs8,252 from the previous close to stand at Rs174,704 per tola.
Yesterday, 5th September, the price of gold was reduced by Rs 6,300 per tola. This remarkable reduction brought the price of gold down to Rs 2 lakh 32 thousand 800 per tola.
In just two days the price of gold has been reduced by 16,800, marking a considerable shift in the country’s gold market.
