First Time in 40 Years, Pakistan Lost More Tests than Wins!

Pakistan’s Test cricket record has reached a concerning point after the team suffered another heavy defeat against England at Lord’s. For the first time since 1987, Pakistan now have more Test losses than wins.

The defeat was Pakistan’s 154th in Test cricket, while the team has 153 victories from 473 matches. The remaining 166 matches ended in draws. This means Pakistan’s overall win-loss ratio has now fallen below 1.00.

The last time Pakistan had more defeats than wins was in August 1987. At that point, the team had played 170 Tests, winning 39 and losing 40.

The latest setback came after England beat Pakistan by 194 runs at Lord’s, taking a 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Pakistan will now face England in the third Test at Edgbaston from September 9, with the team looking to avoid a series whitewash.
