Before the big India-Pakistan cricket match in the Asia Cup 2023, a Sri Lankan cricketer named Chandramohan Krishanth, who helps the Indian team with practice, gave Virat Kohli a special silver bat. This bat has engravings of all 76 centuries Kohli has scored in his career.
Krishanth said he’s a big fan of Kohli and met him in 2017 during practice. He worked for three months to make this unique bat as a gift to Kohli.
The Indian cricket board (BCCI) also shared a video of Kohli talking to local young cricketers, inspiring them with his experiences. The BCCI post said, “Get inspired for the weekend with Virat Kohli talking to young cricketers.”
