Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, came to Ahmedabad on October 4 to take part in the Captains’ Day event before the ICC World Cup 2023.
When he arrived, he got a big welcome. During the event, Babar met India’s captain, Rohit Sharma, and they shared a friendly hug before having a casual chat.
Before coming to Ahmedabad, Babar played in a warm-up match against Australia in Hyderabad, where he scored 90 runs from 59 balls. He also did well in the first practice match against New Zealand, scoring 80 runs.
The Pakistan team received a warm reception when they arrived in Hyderabad, as shown on their Instagram stories.
