The sharing of the Palē-stínían flag on social media accounts is a symbolic gesture of support for those affected by the conflict.
The situation in Gā-zā has seen a significant number of casualties, with thousands of Palē-stíníans killed and injured as a result of Is-raēlí airstrikes. The conflict escalated after an operation by Ha-maś, the governing authority in the Gā-zā Strip, targeting communities in southern Is-raēl. This operation led to a significant loss of life and injury on both sides.
Notably, the Pakistani national cricket team, participating in the ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 in India, also expressed solidarity with Gā-zā. Muhammad Rizwan dedicated his match-winning century to the people of Gā-zā, emphasising the significance of their support.
