Malaysia Introduces Online Visa Application for Pakistani Tourists:

Malaysia has taken steps to simplify the visa application process for Pakistani tourists, introducing a user-friendly online system. The Immigration Department of Malaysia has undergone significant procedural changes, allowing visitors from Pakistan to easily apply for a 30-day visit visa through an accessible online portal.

This revamped system, referred to as the Malaysia eVisa, comes with a notable extension in its validity period, now spanning 90 days from the date of approval.

This extended timeframe provides Pakistani travelers with a three-month window to plan and execute their visit to Malaysia, enhancing flexibility for those eager to explore the diverse attractions the Southeast Asian nation has to offer.

To complete a successful Malaysia eVisa application, Pakistani tourists must submit a set of essential documents. These include a hard copy of the approved eVisa, the passport used for the application, a digital copy of the passport’s biographical information page, a recent passport-size photo, proof of accommodation, a return ticket, and evidence of sufficient funds for the duration of the trip.

A significant development is the reduction in visa fees, with the cost of the eVisa for Pakistani tourists now set at 20 Malaysian Ringgit, approximately Rs1,224.

This reduction positions Malaysia as an even more appealing destination for travelers from Pakistan, offering an affordable entry point to explore the rich cultural and natural wonders of the country.

To enhance the convenience of the application process, applicants can conveniently pay the eVisa processing fee using a valid debit or credit card.

This particular step is aimed at improving the overall ease and accessibility of the visa application process for Pakistani travelers, making Malaysia an increasingly attractive destination for those seeking a hassle-free travel experience.
