The city has announced complimentary parking along with extended timings for the Metro and Bus services, ensuring that everyone can participate in the celebrations. This thoughtful initiative aims to enhance the joy of the National Day holiday, making it more accessible and convenient for Dubai’s residents to engage in the festivities.
If you are in Dubai from November 30 to December 12, here’s what you need to know about the city’s public transportation:
Dubai Metro
- Red and Green Lines operate from 5 am to 1 am (next day) Thursday to Sunday (Nov 30 – Dec 3).
- From Dec 4 to Dec 10, and Dec 11 to Dec 12, the schedule is 5 am to 1 am (next day) every day.
Dubai Tram
- Mon-Sat: 6 am to 1 am (next day).
- Sundays: 9 am to 1 am (next day).
Dubai Bus
- Routes 10, 15, 21, 7, 8, 83, 91, E101, 98E, 96, 95A, 95, 91A, X94, X92, E102 will be redirected on Sheikh Zayed Road toward Abu Dhabi.
- Expect delays and canceled trips from 6.30 am to 11.30 am.
Intercity Bus Routes
- Routes E100 and E102 redirected from Ibn Battuta Bus Station from Dec 1 to Dec 4.
- Normal services on other routes.
Marine Transport
Water Bus
- Various routes available from 12 pm to 11.05 pm.
Water Taxi
- Available on demand from 3 pm to 11 pm. Book in advance.
Dubai Ferry
- Multiple routes and timings from Al Ghubaiba, Dubai Water Canal, Bluewaters, and Marina Mall.
Abras
- Operating from 10 am to midnight on various routes.
Service Providers Centres (Vehicle Testing)
- Closed from Saturday, December 2.
- Vehicle technical inspection services resume on Monday, December 4.
- Halls’ transactions resume in all centres from Tuesday, December 5.
Customer Happiness Centres
- Closed during the holiday.
- Smart Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf, and RTA’s Head Office operate as usual, 24/7.
