Pakistan appears to have firmly established itself as a defiant force in the global music industry, with numerous performers, including Shae Gill and Arooj Aftab, going global. And now Abdul Hannan, with his song “Iraaday,” has joined the group.
We were thrilled to recognise Abdul Hannan among the songs on US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s Spotify playlist, “The Secretary’s 2022 Playlist: On The Road,” which he shared of the music he has listened to while around the globe.
