After 11 Months of Decline, Pakistan’s Exports Increase in September

After facing a decline in exports for 11 consecutive months, Pakistan has received some positive news. In September 2023, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported a 1.15% increase in exports, totaling $2.465 billion.

This turnaround is a notable departure from the prolonged economic challenges that had been impacting the country’s ability to sell its products abroad.

It suggests that Pakistan’s export sector is regaining some strength, which is a positive sign for the country’s overall economic outlook. An increase in exports can boost the economy, create jobs, and contribute to financial stability, all of which are welcome developments for Pakistan.
