The establishment of an agriculture university in Swat has been approved by the Chief Minister (CM) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Mahmood Khan.
The decision was taken by the CM, chairing a meeting with officials from the divisions concerned, after receiving a final report on the proposed university departments, encompassing academic programs compatible with all aspects of agricultural ergonomics.
Discussing the project in detail, CM Khan noted that the new university would be crucial for KP’s National Agriculture Emergency Plan backdrop, adding that the project would also provide complete access to quality agricultural courses and bootstrap the existing pool of farmers into better facilities and better enterprises.
