Air Ambulance To Be Launched By Punjab Govt.

Chief Minister of Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar, chaired the ceremony on Monday of passing out of 73 rescue workers of Koh-e-suleman area of DG khan and 393 rescuers of KPK province at emergency services academy Thokar Niaz Beg.

Usman Buzdar announced the start of Air Ambulance while addressing the audience and that Punjab will be the first province to start the service. The budget for Air Ambulance has been allocated in the Current Fiscal year Budget. He further added, and assured the workers the restoration of frozen allowance since 2017 and assured that will review the risk allowance for rescuers according to the pattern of Punjab Police.

CM was happy to see that more than 20,000 rescuers of Punjab and other units have complete their training from the academy which has the honor of first certified search ad rescuers team by UN.

Moreover, The CM said, the government has expanded the service of motor bike rescue to 27 districts and scope of rescue service to 86 Tehsils. He further added, rescue 1122 has covered more than 97 lac emergencies which is a unique honor for the institution.
