During its session on Tuesday, the Federal Cabinet gave the green light to Air Sial, Pakistan’s third private airline, to start flying to seven more international destinations. This decision came after the Ministry of Aviation recommended it, following the guidelines of the National Aviation Policy 2023 and Air Services Agreement.
The approval was announced through a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). Now, Air Sial can operate flights to China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, the UK, and Kuwait.
Air Sial, which began its domestic flights on December 25, 2020, after its inauguration on December 9, 2020, is now expanding its reach to international destinations. Its first international flight took off from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah on March 29, 2023.
