Alfalah Scholarship Scheme Offering Financial Aid to Deserving Pakistani Students

Alfalah Scholarship, a leading organization in Pakistan is providing financial assistance to students from humble beginnings facing hurdles in their education journeys.

Working since 1998, many students have benefited from this scheme, which aims to financially help deserving students, promote technical education, and provide career counseling. Currently, the scheme is providing more than 2 million per month in the form of scholarships to 825 students.

Eligibility Criteria

The following students are eligible to apply.

  • The students facing hardships to continue their studies.
  • The students whose parent’s monthly income is less than Rs. 45,000.
  • Applicants with good academic records in previous Board or University exams with minimum 70% marks in Matric and 65% marks in FSC or above.
  • For minorities, the percentage acceptable for matric is 65% and 60% in intermediate or above levels.

Students receiving other governmental scholarships like PEEF are not eligible. In addition, applicants from private institutions and virtual universities cannot be considered. However, students doing their intermediate from private institutions can apply.

Documents Required

The following documents will be required.

  • Copy of applicant’s CNIC, Father’s/Guardian’s CNIC.
  • Copy of recent Electricity Bill.
  • Recent photographs.
  • Copy of father/mother/brother/sister’s salary slip or pension book.
  • Copy of all the previous exams’ results.
  • Copy of previous or last semester’s fee slip.
  • Bonafide certificate available on the website.
  • Iqrar Nama is available on the website.

It is important to note that the students of BSC/BBA/B.COM must attach iqrar nama on plain A4 paper. While students of DAE/BS (Hons), BSC, MBBS, LLB, Masters must send their iqrar nama on stamp paper worth Rs. 50 and attested by the Notary Public.
