By comparing former Pakistani bowler Mohammad Amir to current star pacer Shaheen Afridi, former Pakistani captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has made a significant remark.
In a podcast interview with Nadir Ali, Sarfaraz was tasked with ranking the pacer prowess of Mohammad Asif, Amir, and Shaheen.
Asif will be ranked first, Sarfaraz declared.
“If you’re talking about skills, Amir isn’t currently competing in international cricket. But it is up to him, I believe he should play cricket at the international level. Shaheen would be ranked third and Amir at number two if Amir were currently in action.
It is important to note that Sarfaraz is regarded as one of Pakistan’s most successful captains. The Champions Trophy and U19 World Cup are the only two ICC trophies that he has won as the captain of Pakistan.
