Reports and Predictions by economic experts suggest that there will be a business activity of around $10 Billion annually after Gwadar Port and Gwadar Free zone are fully functional.
Lt Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa, Authority Chairman CPEC, addressed to reporters where he shared the progress of the working of Gwadar port. He said soon after completion Gwadar Free Zone will start production exchanging of goods alongside cargo activities will increase.
Asim Saleem Bajwa also stated that he and his team would keep track of the progress until it is finished. Furthermore, he shared that the construction of infrastructure work was completed at the cost of $300 million by China Port Holding Company.
