Another PIA Flight Attendant Goes Missing in Canada

Another Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) crew member, Mohsin Raza, has gone missing in Toronto. Raza, who was scheduled to return to Karachi on a flight on October 13, did not show up for his duty. This incident adds to over 12 similar cases of missing PIA crew members within the past year.

Despite PIA’s policy that requires crew members to hand over their passports upon arrival in Toronto, the rule has not been effective in preventing these disappearances.

The airline has now launched an official investigation into the matter. PIA has also stated that if any misconduct is discovered during the investigation, strict disciplinary actions will be taken, which could include dismissing the crew member involved.

In past cases, it has been reported that some of the missing crew members may have applied for asylum in Canada, though it is unclear if this is the case for Mohsin Raza. This disappearance is the latest in an ongoing series of similar incidents involving PIA staff. The airline is now under pressure to find a solution to prevent such occurrences in the future.
