According to Apple in up-coming weeks a new privacy notification will be introduced by the company that will also enable the users to prevent other companies like Facebook from tracking any of their activity on other websites as well as the apps.
This update would be included in the iOS 14.5 as by making it mandatory for all iPhone apps to even gain the permission of the device owner right before collecting any of the additional data.
The step by Apple has also provoked many criticism like from Facebook that has slammed Apple as what it has introduced as a discouraging prompt that will allow the users to choose either the company can collect their personal data or not through their personal accounts.
Moreover, the Facebook has also claimed the ATT feature will harm the app developers as well as the small businesses; however, it was an anti-competitive measure that was just designed to benefit the advertising features of Apple.
