Najam Sethi, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s newly appointed management committee chairman stated that in order to take “Bold Decisions” Shahid Afridi was appointed as interim chief selector.
“He is the sort of person we want in the selection committee who can take bold decisions,” Sethi recently said in an interview.
PCB’s chairman had made huge change on priority basis by appointing the former all-rounder as chairman of PCB selection committee.
Chairman lauds on Shahid’s straightforward attitude, calling him a “bold and beautiful” player.
“He is someone to experiment with new talent, to realize where old is still gold and I think that was missing in this team which is why we had four defeats in a row in Test matches,” he stated further.
