Authorities have issued warnings to the locals, telling people to avoid the bloated blue whale carcass since it is in an advanced stage of decay and may erupt.
Marine biologists from the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Pakistan responded right away after receiving the notice. They performed a preliminary check on the whale, taking its measurements and taking blood and tissue samples for additional testing to identify its species and potential causes of demise.
