Atufa is an 18-year-old girl from Karachi who has taken on the responsibility of supporting her family by running her own fries stall. Despite facing numerous challenges, including financial difficulties and societal norms, Atufa has shown immense bravery and determination in making her business a success.
Atufa said in an interview that, “There are four people in my family. My mother, father, elder sister, and me. After lockdown we were facing many financial issues and were not able to pay house rent. My father used to work in a company, and I also worked there, but it closed down”. Then Atufa thought of starting her own business. She had saved some money and bought a stall to start her business.”
Atufa doesn’t care about what others think of her. She just wants to help her father. Atufa also mentioned in an interview that if she ever starts her own business, she will employ girls instead of boys who are afraid to work outside and lack courage.
