Recently, a female police officer named Ayesha Gul, has been appointed as AIG for the first time in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The award was given to Officer Ayesha Gul, who belongs to Swabi.
As per sources, Ayesha Gul has been appointed AIG for the first time in the history of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police.
She has also been named as the new director of AIG Gender. She will work on the rights of women, transgender people and children.
Further, at the Central Police Office in Peshawar, a help desk for gender issues has also been established.
