Babar Azam Falls to Eighth Position in ICC Test Rankings

Former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli has moved up to the sixth position in the ICC Test rankings, while Pakistan’s former captain Babar Azam dropped to the eighth position due to a dip in performance.

In the latest rankings, Kane Williamson of New Zealand leads with 864 points, followed by England’s Joe Root with 859 points.

Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne, who performed well against Pakistan, secured the third and fourth positions. Mohammad Rizwan’s impressive innings in the Sydney Test elevated him to the 17th rank, while Saud Shakeel moved to the 14th position in batting rankings.

Aamir Jamal’s debut series performance led to a 12-position rise in bowling rankings, reaching a career-best 45th rank, and Shahin Afridi holds the 12th position with 733 points.
